i'm with the MOB

Had just gotten back from MOB camp. To even describe the camp experience with words, would be unjustifiable on my part; for no words could explain its wonders.

stereos for life

Being that arogant, self proclaimed all knowing, over-exaggerating music lover, I decided that I would set aside a post, posting my music influences so far. So, here goes the music which feeds my soul ::

Taking Back Sunday . Switchfoot . Dishwalla . My Chemical Romance . Dashboard Confessional . Further Seems Forever . Her Reverie . U2 . Chevelle . New Found Glory . Frank Sinatra . Foo Fighters . Fuel . Creed . Furniture . Nat King Cole . Ray Charles . GMB . Our Lady Peace . John Mayer . All Americans Rejects . Mercy Me . Lifehouse . etc .

I do believe that there is such a thing as 'music peer-pressure'. There are many which just listens to bands inorder to keep up being hip or whatever. Thats just being not ORIGINAL! They are pressured to listen to music they dont really enjoy and goes on and on boasting of the music they listen too...boohoo! Common, theres nothing wrong with the pop genre. Whats with these kiddos which claim that pop is all so yucky?! The pop culture was here ever since I could remember. And is probably to stay around for another decade. Pop isn't just about boybands but its genre does go far. There so many other sub-heads under 'Pop' like BritPop, IndiePop, DreamPop, SkatePunk, etc etc. So, Pop isnt just about boybands and the rest you would like to think it is.

Its sad! Every bloke on the block seems to be claiming to be a hardcore rocker influenced. Then, ill just claim to be a Indie, Emo, Old School, Jazzy Ordinary. haha.

Mellow sounds are an indulgence to my wandering ears. Plus, jazzy big bands too are a yearning for my cravings. If you can't appreciate Frank or Nat, you've seriously got a problem. Once you start enjoyin all varieties of music, then you can claim to be a music lover. Till then, my journey to music loving continues in hopes of finding a needed love for the reggae sounds.

Let music feed to the hungry ears as we embark on this path of music loving.
**for those mellow music lovers, take a bite for 'taking back sunday' and 'dishwalla'.

enjoy.

So, it goes again, had washed my lomo pics...haha. Somehow, not every pictures really turned out as I expected. Some were okay, so were crap. haha. Its probably that time to get an LC-A. Muahahaha.

Church camp's this thursday, so yeah!, some time off from my busy college schedules. Time is flying, and before i know it, its D-Day. Arrhhh! 26th May, thats the day we seek compasion from the examiners.

Anyway, enjoy the pic and check out the rest at www.lomohomes.com/reawakening . Till then, wohoo! its church camp this thursday! enjoy.

falling heads

Classes are again long as usual, and boring boring boring. Without a doubt, classes are a haven for sleeping. As soon as the lecturers enter and starts speaking, thats when the therapy begins. Unconscious to all, if listen closely, a sleeping mantra can be heard being cast upon the class. Ah ha!, that the reason why more often than not you can see many of your friends falling a sleep in class. Its sometimes amazing to watch your friends around you sleep during class, and try hiding it afterwards. haha.

The best part of all is undoubtly watching someone fall a sleep and leaning their head forward until it reaches a peak, when out of a sudden their head are raised again, and they realised. The funny thing is, they would then look around hoping that no one catched the head falling action, inwhich was bound to occur again in the next couple of minutes. Its all fun in class, don't you think.

Okay! Its probably best that I start concentrating during lectures than just searching around for falling heads! Still, falling heads are the best entertainment in class...arrhh...crap!

my king of thorns

This artwork was a collective effort from myself and weun. Had drew this together using Yahoo Messenger's Doodle. haha. So, this picture is indeed special. It has both a touch from a malaysian soil, and the Australia soil. :) Thank God for Yahoo's Doodle.

'tetapi dia dilukai kerana dosa kita, dia diseksa kerana perbuatan jahat kita. Yesaya 53 :: Al-Kitab.

Till more imaginary thoughts reawake, enjoy our reverie.

these precious children

amazing childrens.

the children of today, the future of tomorrow.

giggling.

peek'a boo.

sing aloud.

lil' kevin and I in a leg-tied game.haha.

our team : kemayan atc's christian fellowshippers.

I had an amazing time during our visit to the Precious Childrens Home. Indeed, they were precious, as much as what the home stands for. The smile on these children's face while we played and sang was all so rewarding. I was throughly blessed.

To think that we live so glamourously, while they just strive to go on each day is just humiliating on our part. Most have a broken past, with hopes of a brighter future. And yes, all can we do, is to only help during Christmas or other festive occasions, while thoughout the year, we keep an ignorant eye, and look away from the needs of these childrens.

We decided its time to be different. We aren't just goin to sit there like the rest of the world. We aren't goin to help for the name sake that its that time of the year. We share because we care. We will be different. We shall be in, but not of this world.

These shall be my way of life. This is my life. These are our precious childrens.

enjoy.

rare soccer moments

Couldn't resist posting this picture up. This is when you've got 2 angered nut playin soccer. A fight broke out between Bowyer(the left guy) and Dyer(the right guy, obviously) during their match againts Aston Villa. This rare sight is a moment that Newcastle would treasure for their entire football history. And obviously, both were sent off by the referee, and Newcastle lost by 3 goals, but that didn't make much of a difference when they weren't winning to begin with. Nonetheless, all credits to the two that made watching soccer all worthwhile.

Bowyer . Dyer . You made history today.

enjoy.
