words that mattered

From the Great Einstein, to the artsy Michaelangelo, till the dying
breath of dreadful Juliet, something remains the common.

Ever wondered which word mattered the most is your plentiful
vocabulary?

the day the sky fell

I could never forget, the day the sky fell.
As ashes dropped from the skies,
followed by thunderous roar resounding from the city walls.
I ran for cover, hidden from the exposures of solitude and madness.

No thoughts could form, as emptiness pries itself deep
within our minds.
No thought could form the density to such massacre.

But, all is done now, nothing left unchanged,
everything held by change.
What it would become now, could no more be less
than a vengeful heart.

Hence, blood oh' bloody days were ahead.
And the madness didn't end that day,
as it took precedents,
inhopes that one day, revenge wil be repaid.

I still hide myself today,
cursing the day the sky fell,
but more so,
hating the day, the sky will fall again on another.

I would not forget, the day the sky fell,
As ashes dropped from the skies,
for it was to be the day that we started
to forget another, and only remembered ourselves.

following a long, but not forgotten september eleven.
