So, everything is about done with the year of the Rooster. The Chinese New Year is about over, and everyone is back to their respective lives. The city is back to being crowded as before. Nothing really changed. SS2 is packed with no space of finding a car park, and the city is as noisy as ever.

The only change, are those in the pockets. For some, the New Year proved dreadful since most of their hard earned cash are given to their childrens and the other childrens...haha. Lucky for me, im not one of those dreadful ones. The profit out of doing nothing, but just sitting at another's home was humourous. People like us are getting paid for nothing but just visiting other's homes for a couple of minutes. And in addition to that, we are also invited to have a meal there. And when you object, those host actually forces you to eat a little. Don't you think its amazing? Its like getting a combo deal. You get a meal and also some money as appreciation. Nothing can beat that tradition...haha.

Done with all that. So, its back to class for me. Long, long boring classes. Yeap, with the exams drawing to close, its just time to strive for great grades. Its full throttle now. Classes are gonna be a pain, since once revisions starts, classes are all at the wrong time and day. You really don't want to get me started on the days. When you've got classes the whole saturday and sundays and nite classes during the weekdays, there nothing more depressing. Period.

Anyway, on a brighter note, its Valentines. My take on valentine: some saint that had helped many, died on this day, and we take that advantage and start over-charging regular loving folks for dinner and flowers. Great! So much for Valentines. Anyway, its Valentine's, so go ahead and blast the cash away. You'll never find a better time to buy flowers than that when its over-priced..haha.

This year's valentines would be the weirdest one of all. Instead of having a romantic dinner with someone, i'm to have a romantic dinner with god, or so to speak la. Gonna church tonight, and kick off our 40day fast. Yeap, pretty insane to start a 40 day fast on the valentines day, but its all worthwhile. What better way to give a gift to your love one, than to give your all to God. So, it'll be a date with God for me tonight...haha. :)
